Magna Carta Institute event: British General Election of 2010

6 March 2010

The Magna Carta Institute is holding an event on the British General Election of 2010 for current Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows (and Marshall Scholars). Taking place on Saturday 6 March in London, this one-day conference will introduce participants to the political process of general elections in the UK, campaign procedures, and media coverage. Speakers will range from politicians to pollsters to journalists. The CSC will cover travel costs for those Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows based outside London, and will provide accommodation for one night to those who cannot arrive in time for the conference.

The event is open to all current award holders, regardless of discipline. However, places are limited, so if you are interested in attending please email your name, reference number, institution, degree and subject area to Selina Hannaford at selina.hannaford@cscuk.org.uk by Friday 5th February. Selected participants will be informed soon after.
