CSC Electronic Application System

26 February 2010

Applications for Scholarships and Academic Fellowships starting in October 2010 are now closed.

Currently you can apply either for a Shared Scholarship starting in October 2010 or for a Professional Fellowship starting between September 2010 and January 2011 or for a Distance Learning scholarship starting in October or November 2010.

Not all universities are using the EAS to recruit candidates for Shared Scholarships. However, all universities will be asking their selected candidates to complete the EAS application form so that these candidates can be reviewed by the CSC. All universities, whether recruiting using the EAS or not, will require your references to be sent to the university. Please check the websites of individual universities to see their requirements.

If the courses of a university are visible in the EAS, then

  • either the university is recruiting candidates using the EAS
  • or the university has asked provisionally selected candidates to complete the EAS form

If the courses of a university are not visible in the EAS, then

  • either the university is recruiting candidates using its own procedures
  • or the university’s closing date for applications has passed

For full details of the Scheme please see the Shared Scholarships webpage.

UK Organisations preparing bids for funded Professional Fellowships usually target the individuals they would like to fund. So before starting an application for a Professional Fellowship that you can see on the EAS, please contact the Organisation to see if you might be eligible.

Please note that applications are only accepted for Professional Fellowships from UK organisations who have set up a programme and wish to nominate a Fellow or Fellows.  The Commission is not able to accept any applications that have just been completed by prospective Fellows only.  For full details of the Scheme please see the Professional Fellowships webpage.

Not all universities are using the EAS to recruit candidates for Distance Learning Scholarships. However, all universities will be asking their selected candidates to complete the EAS application form so that these candidates can be reviewed by the CSC. Please check the websites of individual universities to see their requirements.
