Alumni Programme

Participation in the alumni programme enables you to stay in touch with other alumni and scholars across the world. Keeping the CSC informed of your career also provides us with information for our funding bodies, helps with evaluating the success of the scheme, and enables us to develop award formats to meet the changing needs of future recipients.

NEWS FOR ALUMNI MEMBERS

NEW! Online Alumni Registration

The CSC will be contacting scholars coming to the end of their award by the end of July via email, asking them to register as alumni online. An advantage will be that people will be able to register easily whether still in the UK or if they have already returned home, as the online form will be available for a fixed period. Forms sent out by post can miss scholars and fellows who have already moved from a specified address.

Research Application

Alumni might be interested in a call for applications under the ESRC/DFID joint scheme for research on international development (poverty alleviation).

New Directory

The second edition of the Directory of Commonwealth Scholars and Fellows has now been published. Thank you to all the alumni who took the time to update their information for this project.

Evaluation Survey Published

This report has been produced as part of an in-depth evaluation programme examining the impact of the scheme since its inception in 1959. Almost 2,200 former award holders responded to a questionnaire designed to find out more about the roles and fields in which alumni are working.
