Taking place on the weekend of 29 June-1 July 2009 in London, the Commonwealth Summer Youth Conference is the sixth Commonwealth Policy Studies Unit (CPSU) conference of this kind.

This year's event will focus on the question of 'How can we change the world?'. The conference will look at this question from a campaigning, political, civil society, and country to country basis and is principally designed to introduce interested young people to the ideas and work which are the focus of each session. The three-day conference includes discussion workshops, Q&A sessions and a Commonwealth Cocktails reception.

The Commonwealth Scholarship Commission is sponsoring ten current Scholars to attend the conference. Selected participants will be contacted by 16th June.
